Terms and Conditions
Last updated August 7, 2026
Launchwork is a private tool used by one household to coordinate a single family member’s job search. It is offered to the people in that household and to nobody else. There is no fee, no public sign-up, and no warranty of any kind. It is operated by Rob Gabel.
Who may use it
Only people on the account owner’s allowlist. Sign-in is by emailed link to an address the owner has added. Sharing access with anyone outside the household is not permitted.
SMS messaging terms
Program name. Launchwork. The tool and the messaging program go by the same name.
Program. Launchwork sends job-search reminders and confirmations to household members who have provided their mobile number, and accepts replies so that notes can be saved without opening the app.
How you join. You give your mobile number directly to the account owner, who reads you a consent script and enters the number by hand only after you agree out loud. There is no web form and no purchased list. You may also start by texting the program number yourself. The script, and how your consent is recorded, are written out in full on the SMS opt-in and consent page.
Frequency. At most two messages per week, and never more than one in any 24-hour period. Most weeks are none. The limit is enforced by the system, not left to judgement.
Cost. Launchwork charges nothing for messages. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. You will get one confirmation and then nothing further. You can also simply ask the account owner to remove your number.
Help. Reply HELP for a summary of what the program does, or write to robgabel@gmail.com.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
What you put in
You are responsible for what you enter, including notes about other people. Keep it accurate and keep it to what the job search actually needs.
AI-generated content
Some features draft text or summarize research using a language model. That output is a draft and can be wrong. Read anything before you send it or act on it.
No warranty
The tool is provided as is. It may lose data, be unavailable, or contain errors, and it is not a substitute for professional, legal, or career advice.
