Launchwork
A shared workspace for one job search
Launchwork is a private tool used by a single household to run one family member’s job search together. One person is the candidate. The others are advisors who open doors, track employers, and keep deadlines from slipping. It replaces the group texts, scattered documents, and spreadsheet nobody updates.
It holds the employers being targeted, the roles applied for, the people in the household’s own network, what was said to whom, and what has to happen next. It is invite-only. There is no public sign-up, no free trial, and no customers. Access is limited to an allowlist of named household members.

- Who it is for
- Only the household members using this tool. Nobody else is messaged, ever. There is no marketing list and no promotional messaging of any kind.
- How you opt in
- A household member gives their own mobile number directly to the account owner, in person or by phone, and agrees out loud to receive job-search reminders and to reply with updates. The account owner enters the number by hand. There is no web form that collects phone numbers, and no number is ever purchased, imported, rented, or gathered from any third party. A member may also start the conversation themselves by texting the program number first.
- What is sent
- Two things only. Reminders about a dated, consequential item that the recipient personally owns, such as an approaching offer-decision deadline or an overdue follow-up. And confirmations that something the member texted in was saved, usually with a link to the record.
- Sample messages

- No more than two messages per week to any one person, and never more than one in a 24-hour period. Most weeks are zero. This limit is enforced by the system, not by policy.
- Cost
- Launchwork charges nothing. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Opting out
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them immediately. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for a description of the program. You may also ask the account owner to delete your number, and it will be removed.
- Your number
- Mobile numbers and messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and are never sold or rented to anyone.
